Hello. Sensei Kifer here.
I want to sincerely thank you for your support during these new and challenging times.
As a small, family-run business, we appreciate you sticking together with us to keep forging ahead and assisting us in living up to our mission to help people become better versions of themselves.
As you know, we’ve been doing our absolute best to adapt while still providing you with the best possible martial arts instruction and service.
From constant cleaning and disinfecting to modifying our class plans, we have been, and always will be, committed to keeping you as safe as we possibly can and that has included the addition of online classes via Zoom for those of you who are choosing to train at home. We love seeing all of you training while we are teaching.
My goal is to get the At Home Practice Video Tutorials out to you by the end of this week.
Now, we were planning on telling you this sooner, however, we never expected a worldwide pandemic to occur and that kind of put a wrench into our plans.
As you know, though we do our best to provide you with the best, there are some things about our facility that are lacking which were unfortunately beyond our control.
- Amount of parking spots available ?
- Flooding in the parking lot ?
- Lack of adequate lighting in the parking lot ?
- Lack of space on the training floor in some classes ?
GREAT NEWS!!!
We’ve been diligently working on finding a better home for you and the rest of our SuperStar Karate family, and we’ve found it.
It has so many improvements to our current location.
- More Parking Spaces ?
- No ? Flooding in the Parking Lot
- More Lighting ?in the Parking Lot
- A Drinking Fountain ?
- Larger Training Space ?
- Larger Viewing ? Area
- Dedicated Room for All Shoes ? & Coats ?
- Quiet ? Room for Spectators
- Larger Lobby
- And more to come… ?
Oh… and I almost forgot ?♂️ … our new place is literally 2 minutes down the street from us.
Starting on Monday, April 6, 2020, SuperStar Karate will be opening it’s doors in more spacious and comfortable surroundings in order to provide you with the best possible experience. Our new address will be 135 E. St. Charles Rd. Suite A-2, Carol Stream, IL 60188. Our contact email is still [email protected] and our phone number, 630-668-5425, will also remain the same. The new home for SuperStar Karate is located near the northwest corner of Gary Ave. and East St. Charles Rd. just east of Country Companies Insurance.
Since we originally opened over 15 years ago, your loyal support has helped us grow and now we will have more space to serve you and your family better. We have been looking for a new home for the past few months and are so happy that we’ve found it and look forward to sharing it with you soon.
Just a reminder that we will be closed (as previously announced in classes and noted in the Spring Quarter Calendar that was distributed at Graduation and posted in our SuperStar Karate Community Facebook group – www.facebook.com/groups/sskcommunity), Sunday, March 29th through Sunday, April 4th. During this time we will be getting our new home ready for you. As I mentioned earlier, classes will resume on Monday, April 6, 2020 with our Spring Quarter Class Schedule.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help. We look forward to seeing you at our new location.
Sincerely,
Sensei Jason Kifer
