My granddaughter started at Superstar Karate just over a year ago. She was a very shy, quiet child, almost introverted at times; but her bubbly infectious personality meshed well with the incredible group at Superstar Karate. She has grown so much as a result of the great programs at SSK.
SSK has an amazing group of instructors and staff. They build the students up to become the leaders of the future. This is a, "We are FAMILY and We are a TEAM" environment; growth through cooperation. They also promote cooperation across the board to help build a better individual; this includes parents and teachers. They work to ensure that kids are being black belt leaders in all aspects of their lives.
My granddaughter is now in her second year at Superstar Karate and she absolutely loves it. She has also joined their Hyper Pro and Leadership teams, which has completely broken her out of her shell.
I can't say enough good about this amazing group of people. They are building leaders. Family-friendly activities. Just an all around great place to be. They have a Parents Night Out so you can drop your kids for a couple of hours. Your kids will have a blast at this fun themed event and you can be worry free.

My son Bobby has been training @ Superstar Karate for the last 7 years. When he 1st started he couldn't even do a summersault, now he is on the Performance Team. Superstar Karate doesn't only teach Martial Arts , it teaches morals and life lessons that my son uses every day. We're very happy with our decision that we chose Superstar Karate to teach our son, it's much more then an academy, it's family !!! Looking forward to the years to come!!!

My two boys, ages 8 & 6, just recently started at Superstar Karate. I have never seen them be more focused or engaged in any kind of activity as they are in Karate! Especially my son with ADHD and autism! They manage to keep him engaged & determined to try & succeed. While in other activities, he may get frustrated and stop trying, at Superstar, he just tries harder. They are super motivating & positive while still teaching respect & discipline. I truly feel like they will learn so much, not just about Karate, but about life as well. Heck, they cleaned their room for one of the challenges they were given! I’m sold!

When our 6 year old daughter got a post card from the Bartlett 4th of July parade for SuperStar karate, she begged us to sign her up. My husband and I decided to let her sign up for the trial period. It was an amazing deal and if she decided she didn't like it, we weren't going to be out hundreds of dollars. With that said, From the very first time we walked through the doors, we have been treated like family. As I sit there and watch her in her first class, I see the instructors asking the students to make my daughter feel welcome, introduce yourselves and offer help when needed. I think to myself wow, this is so nice. Then the instructor has the students sit down and he starts talking to them. I thought maybe one of them had done something. I was beyond amazed by what the instructor had sat them down for. He started talking to the students about loving who you are and don't be afraid to be the person you are. He asked the students to think about a person that they want to be like and write them a letter. It has now occurred to me that not only is my child learning discipline and self defense , she is also learning valuable life lessons. She's learning what it means to have integrity and to treat people with respect.
She was in the trial period for about 4 weeks and then she hurt her foot and she had to stop going for a few weeks. The owner sent her a special get well gift. When she was able to return, as soon as she walked in everyone greeted her and told her that they missed her and that they were glad she was back. Never in a million years would I have expected this. This is the kind of thing you see when you've been part of something for years not a few weeks. SuperStar karate and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They have been a very positive influence on our daughter. When she comes home from a class, she shows everyone what she has learned and she talks about what the instructor talked to them about that day. This place is so much more than just another place to learn karate.

I had my reservations about having my son join karate (think Karate Kid). After a couple lessons, my view has completely changed. SuperStar Karate is a great partner in teaching discipline, self respect, respect for others, and being a good citizen. I feel like the staff and myself all want the same thing for helping my child succeed. Their missions and mat chats fit all ages. We are so fortunate to have found SuperStar Karate and enrolled in their programs. I wish we had made the decision sooner.
